Selecta Puli is the owner and operator of Taxi Sound. He started to select reggae music using tape decks in 2019, nowadays he prefers vinyl and digital formats to play. From early reggae through roots reggae/dub to contemporary reggae & stepper dub every kinda reggae style can be heard in his selections. Sometimes he presents shows where electric music styles are mixed with reggae like jungle and ragga jungle.
Taxi Soundsystem
Selecta Puli started to build his sound system in 2021. It was a low-budget project: a compact 4-way sound has been built from reused materials. Dimensions: Width 1.5 m, Height 1.5 m, containing 4 scoops, 2 kicks, 2 mids, 2 tops. In 2023 an important update followed, and the different speakers were changed. Selecta Puli has been taking his sound system to smaller & bigger events since then.
